In the TCR20T125, the input AC is sourced to the three pairs of bi-directionally connected SCRs placed within the delta connetcted primary of the main power transformer. The secondary voltage of this transformer is rectified and double L/C filtered to provide a low ripple DC output. Both output voltage/current are sensed and compared against internal references so the supply provides constant voltage or current with automica crossover depending on the control level.
