ROCKWELL COLLINS HSM-2050 HF/VHF/UHF High-Speed Modem HSM-2050 HF/VHF/UHF High-Speed Modem 822-2592-001 Overview For fast, reliable data, count on the HSM-2050 is the latest generation HF/VHF/UHF RF modem from Rockwell Collins. It is a software-defined, high-data rate HF, VHF, and UHF modem intended for use in both military and commercial applications. It supports most major HF standards with rates up to 9.6 kbps skywave/16 kbps surface wave in 3kHz (SSB) and 19.2 kbps skywave/32 kbps surface wave in 6 kHz (ISB). ISB operation and HF diversity are standard. At VHF and UHF, it implements waveforms for 8.33, 12.5, 20, 25 and 40 kHz channels with user data rates (coded) up to 96 and 153.6 kbps in 25 and 40 kHz channel, respectively. Key Features & Benefits Multiple HF waveforms: NATO STANAG 4285, 4415, 4529 and 4539. Mil-Std-188-110A Serial Tone, Mil-Std-110B Appendix B, C and F. Multiple V/UHF waveforms: For 8.33, 12.5, 20, 25 and 40 kHz V/UHF channels with maximum (coded) data rates of 32, 48, 76.8, 96 and 153.6 kbps, respectively.
